Acer's range of
"Gemstone Blue" laptops has a very simple selling point and that's because they are the only
16:9 screen ratio laptops currently
available on the market.
You may wonder why is this important. That's because DVD and Blu-ray movies are
mastered to fit a 16:9 aspect ratio screen, rather than the 16:10 ratio that most notebooks and PC desktop monitors have.
The screen has a resolution of
1920x1080, the laptop is pretty heavy at just over
9 pounds but it has only
1.6-inch thickness. Acer put dual hard drives in these computers so you have
640GB total.
If you are interested in a
desktop replacements, this computer is a great choice, if you can afford the price of
$3,000.

Here is their
verdict:
" Its clunky design and poor keyboard are disappointing, but the Acer Aspire 8920G delivers excellent performance and a very good film watching experience at a reasonable price. If this sounds like a good idea to you then its worth investigating further."
