At the " All Things Digital conference" Wednesday, Microsoft will unveil Microsoft Surface computer that will "break down traditional barriers between people and technology".
Microsoft Surface computer can recognize physical objects from a paintbrush to a cell phone and allows hands-on, direct control of photos, music and maps.
Just watch the video for more details:
The video says it all. It is nice to finally see a commercial product like the Microsoft Surface. I am sure that it will change the way we work with computers today.

I invented this in Minority Report.
Your mom invented this.Matt Damon.
And I invented his mom, nublet.
this has been out. Jeff Han has had this out since 2006. too bad the only way microsoft can make something cool is by using other people's ideas. microsoft might not even be able to manufacture this hardware. they aren't allowed to make computers so we'll see if they can make this "desktop computer"this is the original stuffhttp://cs.nyu.edu/~jhan/ftirtouch/
yeah, only we invent real new stuff.. what? they cought us copying the IPOD from that taiwanese company? darn it, I thought we had this covered!
Come on, do you really think Microsoft developed this in the short space of time since 2006? There are at least 5 or 6 years worth of development in this, to say they simply stole someone else's idea is downright ludicrous. Does it not cross your mind that they might not have publicised it (a) until the development was mature and (b) to keep it secret.
...
Microsoft has never invented anything, they buy out or cheat companies to take the credit, it's a Microsoft corporate policy.
