While the name
NEC may not be as synonymous with Cellphones compared to
Sony Ericcson or
Nokia, they seem to be putting their best foot forward in the past couple of months. Releasing affordable handsets with great features, NEC is trying hard to win over cellphone users and with the FCC approval of their newest offering, the
NEC N6207, they might just be able to do that.
The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has approved a GSM phone NEC N6207 made by the Chinese mobile unit of NEC. The model is in essence a compact version of the N5106 without an FM-tuner and a digital block of buttons.
The NEC 6207 looks pretty groovy with its ultra-chic design and the cool color black/orange scheme. However its not just a pretty package.
