Virtusphere is a
10-foot tall,
400 pound hollow steel sphere full of sensors that
translate every movement into an in-game experience.
It have been in development since
1996 and it uses a
display mounted on your head and a
handheld controller which allows exploration and viewing of a 3D world.
Players can
run,
jump,
roll over virtually unlimited distances without encountering obstacles from the real world. The large sphere is on rollers which allows it to move
360 degrees and in any direction.
Virtusphere systems are
custom made for clients ranging from military to law enforcement agencies to entertainment companies.
