Digital cameras are getting s
maller and smaller every day the main reason being the technological progress and high quality optics.
When we think at digital camera in the future we think at
Canon Snap. It is
small enough to wear on your finger and take pictures everywhere and
powerful enough to compete with a regular camera.
It has a single button and when pressed takes a picture of your favorite moment.
From the picture the future looks amazing.

Yes, it's amazing what you can make when you don't have to supply an actual product, only a picture. I would like concept designs more if companies wouldn't say "Hey, this is cool. Send it to Marketing.", but rather "Hey this is cool. Send it to R and D." Really, I see no point to coming up with a really cool idea if you aren't going to make more than 10. What holds them back? If it's cool, we'll buy it. No, I'm not joking. I've seen it happen. It just seems pointless to go to all the trouble to make something people would love, build a few, parade them around for everyone to see, get everyone saying 'I'd buy it', then say "Well that was fun. Go back to buying our ordinary, boring stuff."Is there some method to this madness? Is there some marketing reason to explain this dance and show that no one told me? Because if there isn't, then it seems a lot of work to go through - just to throw it all away.-c
