To blog or not to blog? - this is the question that every internet user asks himself sometime. There are a lot of discussions about this topic and we searched on the Internet a couple of reasons on what people think about blogging and if this is a useful activity or not.
We didn't modified in any way the original posts, just selected the interesting parts.

" Blogging is something for anyone and everyone. I can't think of anyone who can't benefit from knowing more people, never forgetting a thought again and improving on their thoughts with little or no effort.
For some blogging will be like a diary: a historical record of their thoughts at a moment in time.
For others it'll be like speed-networking. You get to know people in a shallow way and then develop a relationship.
For still others it'll be something else entirely."

" So, what are my reasons to blog?
Here they are, in no particular order:
-Sharing knowledge and doing it in an easy to follow form
-Learning new things and making sure I never stop learning
-Meeting people and making friends
-Changing the world, one small step at a time
-Being in greatest online communities ever - everyone gives something back
-Experimenting with everything and learning from my mistakes"

" Why do I blog?
This is a question that produces different answers over time. It has taken a year and a half of steady blogging to arrive at today's answer to the question. A weblog is the ultimate power tool available to a single individual. It provides almost unlimited multiplication of effort.
If you create a weblog and write with passion about things that matter to you, others will find their way to you from all over the world and will respond to your message.
To answer my original question, I blog because my future depends on it."

>>>Not to blog
" It's time consuming.
The blogosphere is already overloaded - Yes that's right, there are lots of good bloggers out there. So why would you start or continue blogging at this point? The content has already been covered by the press and at least five other bloggers, would your comments on their blogs be sufficient?
It's not journalism - So don't pretend it is…..
You don't want to become another victim - yes many bloggers get victimized and bullied by the community.
It's not profitable - yeah everyone thinks they are going to write a great blog, be an A-list kind of blogger, put up some adds and get some revenue."

It's not profitable? I do not know of any bloggers who are in it for the money, of course there are some, but nobody goes to a blog that is only trying to make money.
